Practitioner has had an action taken by healthcare institutions, other practitioners, insurance companies, health maintenance organizations or professional organizations that resulted in a suspension or revocation of privileges or the termination of employment
Date: 2019
Entity Taking Action: Privilege suspension and reinstated
Action Taken: Permian Regional Medical Center (PRMC) issued a summary suspension of my privileges on January 7, 2019 with no due process. PRMC investigated the matter, which lasted longer than thirty days, requiring a report to the National Practitioner Data Bank. At the conclusion of their investigation, the suspension was lifted with no adverse action taken. I felt PRMC overreacted and decided to move to Amarillo with no intention of returning to PRMC.”
