Date:
2010
Entity Taking Action:
New York State Office of Medical Conduct
Action Taken:
I received a driving while intoxicated charge in 2009 which resulted in censure and reprimand by the New York State Office of Medical Conduct. An alcohol and substance abuse evaluation determined that the DWI was an isolated episode and that I have the intention and capacity to assure there will be no repetitions. There have been no repetitions. I never lost the ability to legally practice medicine. In 2012 I underwent a professional comprehensive assessment that determined the 2009 DWI an aberration and there were no concerns that it would be repeated.
