Entity Taking Action: Texas Medical Board
Action Taken: It is a violation of the Texas Medical Practice Act for a physician licensed in Texas to have an order entered against him in another state. Section 164.051(a)(9). The Virginia Medical Board entered an order against me on November 2, 2011. I self-reported the Virginia order to the Texas Medical Board as required by law. The Texas Medical Board found that "[o]n November 2, 2011, the Virginia Board of Medicine entered an Order against Respondent based upon findings related to the care and treatment of one minor patient ('2011 Virginia Order')."
